Our projects

Around 120 non-profit organisations in southern Africa are using Soweto Care System. Our partners provide a wide variety of services. We work for child welfare organisations, drop-in centres, women empowering projects, interest groups and refugee support organisations. They are located mostly in South Africa, but also in Mozambique, Kenia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi.

Persevere Until Something Happens (PUSH)

PUSH was established in May 2001 and is situated in Eldorado Park – Soweto, 25km South West of Johannesburg. Eldorado Park is surrounded by four informal settlement areas and has an approximate population of 550,000 to 600,000 people.

Abraham Kriel Childcare

Abraham Kriel Childcare is an NPO providing care and skills development for traumatised children and youth in need in Johannesburg. They provide shelter, physical care, rehabilitation and skills development for beneficiaries that were subjected to trauma, abuse, molestation, poverty, neglect and unemployment.

Humana People to People

Humana People to People (HPP) is a network of non-profit aid organisations in Europe, North America, Africa, Asia and Latin America, all working in the field of international solidarity, cooperation and development.

The Mineworkers Development Agency

The Mineworkers Development Agency (MDA) assists ex-mineworkers, their families and communities to recognise their socio-economic potential. There is a huge need in these communities, as many rely on a single income earner.

Kids Haven

Kids Haven is a Non-Profit Organisation founded in 1992 by Moira Simpson as a response to increasing numbers of children on the streets of Benoni in Ekurhuleni to reach out to them.
